Spring is here! And hopefully good weather too!

With the seasons promise of sun and flowers comes my two favorite days in April! Calyx!! the exhibition that has opened my eyes and inspired me in so many ways. I have met so many incredible artists (painters/ sculptures/ fabric artists/ jewelry artists and artisans- masters at their craft, and so many art enthusiasts, the mind boggles. With hundreds of people walking through the doors of the Crescent Heights Community Centre on the 21st and 22nd of April, it is a very vibrant space to be a part of.

With 30 different artists on each of the two days its two completely different exhibitions in one weekend!

I'll be there all day on the Saturday, 21st of April from 10am till 4pm with my new collection of horses and landscapes for 2018.

Back To Basics

Organising my files from as far back as I have, I stumbled on images of paintings from my first few exhibitions of horses. Its difficult to describe the freedom I felt then and still feel when I paint in this style. Trying to get back to basics with my collection in 2018 by tapping into why I started painting in this style in the first place.
